@shadow7127: @rosque: They're holding the earbuds near their ears, not actually putting them in. That didn't turn out as clear as I'd hoped. Still, you can see Pilau is holding the earbud.

I had a bit of trouble following this one on the first read-through. But I think I got it now:
1) Pilau has the gadget but isn't using it, so
2) Rooter describes how to use it. Diptheria is less than impressed by Pilau's acumen.
3) Richard tries it out and hates it, which amuses Diptheria.
4) Pilau tries it out. Kila gets frustrated by Pilau's idiocy: "It sounds horrible, you say? I must try this for myself!"
5 & 6) Sure enough, Pilau doesn't like it either. Rooter is disappointed that no one likes his music. Kila facepalms and Diptheria bails.
