UBER UPDATE My mother wrote a book. It's a very good book and one that I personally enjoy very much. It's a fast-paced political yarn, very interesting and intellectual, even if you're not a political person (neither my mother nor myself are very political people, I'm not sure why she wrote a political book but it's a fascinating read and I'm glad she did). Repeat: this is a good book. I actually edited it for her, so I know every paragraph of this book, I can tell you, it is a good book.

(My mom's summary: "Angels Mark" is a suspense novel ripped from today's headlines! Readers who are weary of a bipartisan American government, poor economic news, political posturing and bickering, and a deadlocked two-party system, will find "Angels Mark" to be a satisfying read: the perfect anecdote to watching the news. Serena Wilcox is on the run from the law, for reasons that involve three American presidents, a woman in Iran, and a false church headed up by two deranged brothers.
"Angels Mark" is a fast-paced novel of suspense, justice, mystery, and humor that will keep you guessing to the very end -- and beyond!

YOU WILL LOVE THE DERANGED BROTHERS.)

She is self-published on Kindle and Nook. Her book is available for only 99 cents. We are low on household funds and we need her book to sell and her name to get out there. She doesn't have a marketing team, she is on her own.

Here is her book on Kindle: http://www.amazon.com/Angels-Serena-Wilcox-Mysteries-ebook/dp/B005GNSJS6/ref=sr_1_10?s=dig ital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1312989408&sr=1-10

Here is her book on Nook: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/angels-mark-natalie-buske-thomas/1032622246?ean=2940013121 461&itm=1&usri=natalie%2Bbuske%2Bthomas

There are free Nook and Kindle apps to use on your computer, so there's really no excuse not to buy her book if you don't have an e-Reader, but I know some of you really can't afford even 99 cents. All I'm asking is for you to share these links. Post the links on Tumblr, post the links on your Facebook or Twitter or DeviantART or wherever it is you hang out.

This is something my family and I really need and it will only take a few seconds of your time. Please help. It would mean the world to me and my mother.

You might notice that this page looks a little different. It was inked traditionally instead of digitally. You see, I can ink a page with markers in a tiny fraction of the time it takes me to ink one on the computer. I mean, a teeny, tiny fraction. For the first time ever, I have pages done ahead. The change means I'll be able to do a LOT better staying on schedule. There might be a dip in page quality at first, but it will be ironed out with practice.

In fact, in time I think they'll look better than before- I really never took to digital lineart. Also, because the digital lineart took so long, I wound up running out of time, rushing at the end, and ending up with art that's not as good as I could have made it.

The guest art has been moved to between the two chapters of the comic where it won't seem to have been interjected at random, but people can still enjoy it.

And if you're still here, the bonus comic I promised forever ago is almost done, only two pages to go. Here's the first page of it, you can navigate from there, I hope: http://tousebothsyllables.deviantart.com/art/KiLA-iLO-prologue-1-248239319?q=gallery%3Atou sebothsyllables%2F26668873&qo=6
