Signed copies won't be available for a couple weeks. Please let me know if you want one signed so I know how many to order. Price for a signed book is $14.99 plus $6 shipping which is about the same price as Createspace- you'll just be paying through PayPal instead of through Createspace.

Kickstarter Progress and other updates

I've been busy working towards the Kickstarter for Book 2, which should begin in mid to late December. In the meantime I've been working on some other things as well:

Hiatus approaching.

After Dec. 3rd, KiLA iLO will be going on hiatus while I prepare for the Book 2 Kickstarter, which I plan to run during my winter break. Guest art submissions are now being accepted.

Guest art will be posted regularly to SmackJeeves (how often depends on the length of the hiatus and the amount of submissions) until the hiatus ends and normal updates resume, at which point the guest art will be removed from the archives and displayed on the guest art page.

If you want to submit guest art, send submissions to buddinganimator@aol.com or wherever else is convenient. Anything up to a PG-13 rating that includes the characters is acceptable unless you do something totally unacceptable that I didn’t think of in advance. Don’t worry about the size of the image, I’ll resize it down if I need to. Colored artwork is not necessary as long as you have a decent quality image and not, say, something you took a picture of with your iPhone.

Selling a sketchbook!

I'm selling an 8.5x11 sketchbook, full of KI drawings and concept art for some other stuff. Also there’s a dragon in it somewhere. The auction starts at $9.99 and will run for a week starting now- so it will end around this time next week.

Heads up!

First, there will be no new page today as I am focusing on packaging Kickstarter backer rewards.

Second, as I go through packaging these books to ship out, I have so far found at least 5 copies of Book One out of the 23 I ordered that either have terrible image quality or have the image in the wrong place on the page (sometimes even slanted sideways) like a defective Happy Meal bag.

If you buy a book from Createspace and it's defective, please complain to Amazon. If you buy a signed copy directly from me, it is guaranteed not to be defective because I will not send you a defective copy.
